Ikechukwu Uche was on target for Villarreal on Saturday as his club secured a 2-0 away win against Reus Deportiu at the Estadio Camp Nou Municipal .

His second minute strike gave his side the lead before Javier Espinosa Gonzalez added the second 15 minutes later against the Segunda division team.

Villarreal will now head to England for the next leg of their pre season tour where they will face championship side, Middlesbrough and Premier League club, Swansea City.

Uche also holds the record for the highest scoring Nigerian in Spanish La Liga after breaking Finidi George’s haul of 11 goals with Real Betis in the 1990s.
