Nigeria starlets Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidiebere Nwakali will be part of Manchester City’s pre-season training in the United States of America next month.
Both Nigeria Under 20 stars have signed pre-contracts with the English Premier League champions and now have a chance to impress with the main squad in the USA.
A top source informed AfricanFootball.com: “The players are right now processing their visas and will be excused from the Flying Eagles’ training camp in Abuja at the end of this month to join City for the pre-season in the US.”
Iheanacho will sign a professional contract with City in October, when he has clocked 18, while Nwakali will do the same months later in December.
Both players shone as Nigeria won a record fourth FIFA U-17 World Cup in the UAE in November.
