The Governing Council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK Awka have announced the election of a new Vice Chancellor.
The new Vice-Chancellor is Prof. Greg Nwakoby who was until his election the Deputy Vice chancellor Administration of the institution.
The former Faculty of Law Dean beat thirty other contestants to the position.
The new Vice Chancellor elect will take over from the outgoing VC, Prof Boniface Chukwukadibia Egboka who will be stepping down on 3rd June, 2014 after finishing his five years tenure
