Ogbonnaya Onu, the minister of Science and Technology, has said that the much expected change in the country will not come until the 2016 budget is signed and implemented by the federal government.

According to Daily Trust, Onu expressed his opinion on Sunday, April 24, speaking at the launch of an updated edition of a book “Each Man, His Time-The Biography of An Era”, written by a former minister of Information, Prince Tony Momoh and the celebration of his 47th marriage anniversary in Mararaba, Nasarawa state.
“Change won’t come until the 2016 budget is signed. What we are using now is the 2015 budget which was not done by us. Our president has restored our image to the position of repute, so let’s support him,” he said.
Onu stressed that the APC-led government was committed to fulfilling all its campaign promises.
