Enugu police discovered a baby factory at Udi LGA of the state and rescued nine pregnant victims.
A suspect allegedly responsible for the factory operation was arrested during the raid, which was confirmed on June 13, Saturday, by the police spokesperson Ebere Amaraizu.
“We had strong intelligence from about his activities. We had to put a tab on him for some time which eventually paid off. Nine girls at various stages of pregnancy were rescued.”
