The youth wing of the pan-Igbo socio-political organization Ohanaeze Ndigbo has tasked President Muhammadu Buhari to complete Enugu International Airport, the second Niger Bridge and rehabilitate dilapidated federal roads in the south east zone.
Speaking with newsmen in Aba, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the national president of the group, also called on Buhari to implement the decisions of the National Conference.

“We are appealing to President Muhammadu Buhari to complete Enugu International Airport to make it a true international airport which can compare with others across the globe.

‘’We also want him to complete the second Niger Bridge, rehabilitate federal roads in the South East zone and implement the decisions of the confab, particularly the creation of additional state in the South East,” Isiguzoro said.

According to the group, corruption and indiscipline are the main evils that had caused severe hardship to Nigerians. Therefore, Isiguzoro urged Buhari to fight them and fulfill one of his key campaign promises.

The group also appealed to the president to appoint Ogbonnaya Onu as the secretary to the government of the federation, the former governor of Rivers state Rotimi Amaechi as his chief of staff and Chris Ngige as the minister of health. Members of the youth group believe that the three men are true patriots, who are capable of helping Buhari to achieve his visions for the nation.
