This was confirmed by one Mama Chioma who said corper Akpan did not interact much with the neighbors due to language barriers, but she used to charge her phone at his place when he put on his generator.

Mama Chioma said she would miss Hope since the deceased was always friendly and had never quarrelled with anyone.

According to Mama Chioma, Hope’s body was discovered at about 9 p.m. last Saturday at his apartment. The neighbours became curious when they discovered that the door was open, but Akpan was not seen around the premises. They entered the apartment and found Hope’s lifeless body with his legs tied on the floor in a pool of blood.
