The chairman of Enugu State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Ben Nwoye, has expressed optimism that the main opposition party in the country would in 2015 sack the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the Lion Building, the official residence of the state governor.

Nwoye stated this at the weekend during the formal inauguration of the state executive committee of the party in Enugu.

He assured that his executive would do everything humanly possible to put in place all the needed structures to realise the dream of the party to control power in the state in 2015.

Nwoye, a lawyer turned politician, said like other states being controlled by the PDP, Enugu State people were seriously yearning for change, assuring that by the time APC would take over government at all levels in 2015, the culture of impunity and corruption would be a thing of the past both in Enugu and Nigeria in general.

Also speaking, the leader of APC in Enugu State, Brigadier- General Joseph Okoloagu (rtd), warned that the ongoing impeachment of opposition governors was an invitation to anarchy.

He, however assured that the party was prepared to defeat President Goodluck Jonathan as well as the PDP in the Coal City State in the 2015 general elections.
