The house also directed INEC to tender unmitigated apology to the affected local government areas for the unwarranted socio-political and psychological trauma caused the affected people.

The house also resolved that as a mater of exigency, INEC should extend the duration for revision of the voters register from five days to a period not shorter than one month.

The house urged Governor Sullivan Chime to constitute a high powered delegation to the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to formerly complain of the disfranchisement of more that 40 percent of electorates in the state and explore avenues to arrive at possible solutions.
